FTPP Solved! : When your FTP clients fail to work with a Proper Internet connection
You might think, what’s this FTPP? It’s just File Transfer Protocol Problems. Ok before you throw stones or click on some other link or on the cross button about, let me make my point.
Ever since I started blogging at Open Thoughts, I faced problems in accessing my Files on the server. All the clients I tried, failed to connect. I tried first with FileZilla on Windows. It failed saying about problems in my firmware. I wasn’t aware and so stopped trying. Then I tried on my Laptop, where Ubuntu is installed, again with FileZilla. But it failed again and this time it just kept hanging or working irresponsibly. Then I heard about the firefox plugin, FireFTP. Gave that a try but had no luck. At college I am behind a proxy and every attempt to access my files on the server failed. I tried the GUI way, the CLI way, every other damn way. Finally, I found the way, the method that worked for me! Thanks to my senior Suren, who through light on this.
Net2FTP

Net2Ftp provides a free solution to access your files on the server via FTP and that too securely! OK, I searched for “net2ftp exploits” and found a good list. I haven’t gone through, but still I found net2ftp extremely comfortable and useful in accessing, editing, uploading files, themes, plugins etc. The login page requests you to provide with the basic details, like hostname, port, username and password. Then you request for login and man it’s quick! There laid my files for my blog. Now am actively working on my blog. Of course, it’s obvious. New template, new content! It’s finally happening! I am back to full fledged blogging!
